A few weeks back, Jay began a new ritual to help himself fall asleep. One day, I walked in his nursery to check on him during a nap and this is what I found: 
Apparently, our precious child has taken it upon himself to block out all noise and light by conveniently smothering himself with his blanket. He was happy and content and when I pulled back the blanket, this is what I found:

Trey and I were laughing and going on and on about how funny he is and how cute it is, but then we realized that this could be a potential major problem!! Jay loves his blankets and is constantly rubbing them against his face to feel the silkiness. It does not matter how low you tuck the blanket in around him, in a matter of seconds, he has it pulled up over his head and will just lay there staring into the darkness that it creates. Such a silly boy!!

THIS child... IS MY NEPHEW!!!!! ahhh!!! the most PRECIOUS and CUTEST thing in the world!! we don't have to wonder where he got his personality. two words: two parents with two huge personalities. period.
