JUNE:
In June, we had Jay's baby dedication at our church. It was a special and wonderful Sunday where we got to commit our sweet boy to the Lord. It was extra special for Trey because it happened to be on Father's Day. After church, we had both of the families over for lunch. The verse we had dedicated to Jay and have been praying over his life is Psalm 86:11-13, "Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever. For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths of the grave." It was such a sweet day with both of our families that once again reminded us how blessed we are to have them as well as how blessed we are to have been entrusted with the life of our precious son!

JULY:
In July, we had some BIG TIME news....for those of you that have not heard, Baby Howell #2 is on the way! I am now almost 6 months pregnant (yes, it has definitely been a while since I have updated!) and I am due March 8th. It was one of those unexpected, but very pleasant surprises. Tons of people have asked us if we were 'planning' this and the easiest answer is "Yes and No!" We had kind of reached the point where we were talking/discussing when we should 'try' for our next baby, and SURPRISE! I think the hardest people to convince were our families. I really think they were in shock at first...it was such a fun surprise!

"I'm the BIG brother!"
In July, we also took a Caribbean Cruise with Trey's entire family. We loved getting to spend so much time with them and enjoyed good food, fun, and SUN! I was about 2 1/2 months pregnant so it was so nice to get to relax! BUT, it was the first time I had been away from Jay, and it was for 8 straight days!! He stayed with his Mimi and Pop (my parents) and did amazingly well, but it was the wierdest feeling for me (and Trey) to actually be ready to come home from vacation. We missed our boy like crazy, but had a FANTASTIC time!!

I have to admit...one of the greatest parts of the trip was getting to see this adorable face again!
In July, my parents bought a new home. I know that this may not seem like that big of a deal, but they had lived in the same house for the last 18 years. They bought an adorable home across town that we all love, but it was definitely a big move. It almost became comical how many of my old friends reacted with "WHAT?!?! Your parents moved?!?! Are you OK?!?! I cannot believe that!!" We loved their old home and have some precious memories there that we will take with us forever, but we love their new home and have already made precious memories there as well.

Whew!! I'm exhausted!! That's one good reason not to get behind on this blog...it's a ton of work to catch back up. But, that has been our life in a nutshell these past few months. We have been having a wonderful time and have been very blessed! I will definitely try to begin posting on a regular basis so you don't have to read through a massive post like this again. We love you all and are flattered that you are even the least bit interested in our lives!! :)
